I don’t know about you, (but I’m feeling 22) just kidding…. but I love Amazon! From the ease of ordering, to the fast delivery with Prime, it is my absolute go-to. So I thought I would share some of my favorite travel essentials on Amazon.

Stay Comfy

travel essential fan

Always hot? This handheld fan will keep you cool in the blistering summer heat. It has up to 19 hours of cooling time on one single charge. It also doubles as a powerbank so you can keep your other devices charged. But wait, there’s more! It has a flashlight, which, in my opinion is the icing on the cake to make it onto any list of travel essentials.

  • One thing about me: I will be sleeping. Whether in a car, on a plane, a train… it doesn’t matter. So I’ll always say yes to a comfy neck pillow like this one. Made of memory foam, this pillow is ideal for taking a little nap and not waking up with a horrible crick in your neck. Yes, please.
  • If a neck pillow isn’t quite versatile enough for you, check out this bendable pillow that you can contort into whatever position floats your boat. It’s also memory foam, so no need to trade off comfort for versatility.

Stay Entertained

  • I need music like I need air and the speaker on my phone just won’t cut it. Check out this JBL bluetooth speaker that I absolutely love. Get up to 7 hours of play time on a single charge. It’s small but mighty, making it easy to travel with and great for listening. Pool party or beach hang out? Don’t worry, it’s also waterproof! (I’ve accidentally spilled water on ours before and it still works perfectly fine; of course, if my fiancé asks…. no I didn’t spill water on it….)
  • Catch me without my kindle– I bet you won’t. This little baby goes with me EVERYWHERE. Car ride? you bet. Doctor’s appointment? Duh. On my lunch break at work? Obviously! I never thought I would enjoy an e-reader because I am very much a paper person. But once I started using this, I never looked back. I can’t say enough good things about the ease of use, readability, speed. Chef’s kiss.
travel essential kindle

My kindle is very well loved (it might actually be one of my most important travel essentials)- like I said, it goes everywhere with me. Also, I’m not done reading this book, so NO SPOILERS. And shoutout to my fav podcast, Morbid -check out their IG and give them a listen!

Stay Beautiful

  • Let’s face it, hotel and bathroom mirrors simply suck. Instead, take this light up travel sized mirror so you can slay your make up application. You can adjust the light to be white, warm, or cool. It also has a stand so you can set it on a flat surface and leave your hands free.
  • You also need a bag to carry all your stuff in, duh. I love having a bag that I can hang- it makes it so much more convenient. Check out this hanging toiletry bag with tons of compartments. You can easily fit makeup, skin care, shampoo, and conditioner all in one place.
  • “Did I unplug my curling iron?” I will ask myself this 6372839272 times because I’m convinced I’m going to burn the house down. With this hot tool mat, you can unplug and put away as soon as you’re done so you don’t have to worry about your straightener setting the hotel ablaze. This thing has saved me from panic on countless occasions.

Stay Safe

travel essential first aid

You never know what will happen when you’re out on the road, on a hike, literally anywhere. I make sure to travel with a first aid kit for those emergency situations. This kit has band-aids, burn cream, gauze, antibiotic ointment, and plenty more for anything you might need. Always better safe than sorry!

  • Every car needs an emergency kit, and this one has everything you could need. Ice scraper, jumper cables, bungee cords, even an escape hammer. It comes in a compact case so you can store easily in your vehicle. I keep mine in the car 24/7 just in case.
